Marsh Health Study East Fowl River, Mobile County (AL) Submerged Aquatic Vegetation 2018

Dataset extent

GPS data was collected along the inner and outer boundaries of SAV beds in October 2018, along the margins of three spits in East Fowl River, AL. ESRI polygon coverage was created in ArcGIS 10.7, using the field points and 2017 orthoimagery imagery as a base map. Transition zone SAV beds are predominantly wild celery (Vallisneria neotropicalis). Eurasian watermilfoil (Myriophyllum spicatum), widgeongrass (Ruppia maritima) southern naiad (Najas guadalupensis), and coon's tail (Ceratorphyllum demersum) were also recorded during the survey.
