DISL Fisheries Ecology Lab: DISL Transect Bottom Longline (2011-present)

Dataset extent

Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors

Catch data from bottom longline sampling off the coast of Alabama. Sampling occurs quarterly along a transect with eight stations spaced ten miles apart, on a randomly selected longitude. Captured fish are identified to lowest possible taxon, measured for length, and weighed when possible. Temperature, salinity, and dissolved oxygen data are also collected during longline soak time.
