Temporal variability in summertime bottom hypoxia in shallow areas of Mobile Bay, Alabama (2004)

Dataset extent

From July-September, 2004, time series data were collected from a stationary mooring located off the coast of Fairhope, Alabama. The data collected include pressure, conductivity, temperature, and current velocity at surface and bottom, and dissolved oxygen (DO) at bottom. Vertical profiles of pressure, conductivity, and temperature were also obtained weekly, along with surface and bottom water samples for chlorophyll and species of carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus. From these measurements, other parameters were derived. They include water depth, salinity, density, and saturation DO concentration.
