Compass Port Baseline Marine Surveys: Vertical Hydrographic Profiles in a Grid of 49 Stations Around 30 05.410'N, 88 12.694'W (2004-2006)

Dataset extent

In 2004 Compass Port LLC (Compass Port) and the Dauphin Island Sea lab (DISL), in consultation with NOAA, developed a research plan to assess the possible biological impacts of the proposed Compass Port liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility in lease block MO910, approximately 18 km south of Dauphin Island. As part of the overall baseline survey, CTD profile data were collected in a grid around the proposed site at quarterly intervals from 2004 to 2006.
